First-person medieval strategy game for mobile

Steel and Flesh 2 is a free strategy game for mobile that was developed by VirtualStudio. Set during the Middle Ages, 1212, it places players at the height of The Crusade. They will explore and conquer over 20 states across the map, all in reclaiming the Holy Land.

Similar to Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire or Medival Battle: Europe, Steel and Flesh 2 will require precise planning and strategy as players engage in skirmishes across the land. Also, it uniquely allows them to explore and do battle in the first-person perspective, making for a more immersive experience.

What is the game all about?

Steel and Flesh 2 is set during medieval times when the Mongolian Army was slowly spreading its presence in Asia and with the Crusades ongoing in the Middle East. You are dropped right in the thick of it as you explore over 20 locations spread across a vast map and reclaim the Holy Land in the name of the Latin Church through large-scale battles and the siege of fortresses.

The stand-out feature in Steel and Flesh 2 is that it allows you to seamlessly change perspectives from top-down third-person to the more immersive first-person view during gameplay. Participate in skirmishes with up to 300 soldiers at a time. What's more, there are over 30 skills to unlock and train your character with. You can even visit taverns and hire companions to aid in your adventure.

The game also features online multiplayer that will let you call your friends to come to your aid or do battle with other players from all over the world. One thing that could use more work, though, is the controls, which some players will find a little cramped and awkwardly positioned. The addition of options to customize its layout, size, and such would greatly improve the combat experience.

Action-packed and immersive

If you're a fan of medieval games, Steel and Flesh 2 is currently one of the best that you can try out today. It's action-packed, challenging, and offers impressively deep gameplay mechanics. The ability to switch between perspective is a nice touch and truly make it stand out from other titles like it. While the controls could be better, it does not detract from the immersive gameplay that it offers.
